If you are new to twitter, or even if you are an experienced veteran, chances are you’re perpetually looking for new tools to help you tweet even better. Well, hopefully I can help.
People use twitter to keep up with her friends and some people use twitter to grow their online business. Depending on what you use twitter for, will determine what tools are best for you.
You do have to be pretty careful when use some Twitter tools because, if you use something that does not work correctly, or doesn’t comply to twitters rules, your account can be shut down with no notice. Believe me, I’ve had it happen to me. Lesson learned I guess.
Let’s get right into it. The #1 twitter tool that I have learned to keep my tweets directed is TweetDeck. It is essentially a personal browser for your twitter account or accounts that helps you stay connected with acquaintances and with business associates. You can even help you organize your info on Facebook. I would highly recommend TweetDeck to anyone looking to get the most out of their tweets. Oh, and 1 more matter, Tweetdeck is free.
Number 2 favorite so far is Tweetlater. With over 100,000 users, it is growing by leaps and bounds. There is a free edition and a professional version. Tweedlater assists you to add new followers, automatically un-follow people, set up automated tweets, and integrate direct into Facebook and ping.FM. I love it, I have various accounts running it right now. And my favorite thing about it is that it is not on my desktop, but functions on their servers behind the scenes.
If you’re not using Firefox yet, you should be. There’s a lot of key tools in use to make your Internet experience easier with Firefox. My third most loved twitter tool is Twitterfox. It helps you continue track of all of your friends action on twitter correct from your Firefox web browser. It makes twitter even lighter than before.
Have you used Tweetmeme yet? This twitter tool assists you to find the hotlinks that are all over twitter. Help you search by topic, and popularity. It’s identical using Google, but with instant notice when breaking news happens.
Number five. Hummingbird2. With the full release just days away, it’s going to be exciting to see what is different with Hummingbird 2 verses hummingbird 1. There’s a great free variation and paid versions that you can choose from depending on your needs. This is another tool that helps you grow your twitter account quickly and with an automatic un-follow system included. It also helps you to find people in certain states, and even down to the city level.
So that is it. That’s my favorite five for right now, but other tools come out everyday so I’ll try keep you updated on any new ones that look promising. Post below to let me know your favs.
