The best thing about search engine optimization is the fact that you can grab a time of free traffic once you are ranking high in search engines. The key word being “free”. Now, it does take some work to get your site and pages ranked for your keywords, but once you are up there you are essentially getting free advertising for your site day after day.
For example, if your number one for a popular keyword, the person that is using pay per click on their marketing may be showing above you in the results page, but when they get clicked on they may be charge anywhere from $2-$8 for that one click. You on the other hand, because you are in the organic searches, won’t get charged a dime.
