Infusionsoft CRM Review

Over the years I’ve used several different CRM programs. As I was using them, I typically thought that they were great and intuitive. I use such programs as top producer for my real estate client management, and sales force and sugar CRM for my Internet marketing contact management.

As far as auto responders go, I have used Aweber, 1Shoppingcart, and GetResponse. I never found really any flaws in any one of these, but I always felt like I was missing out on something that could potentially accelerate my business. I just never could quite find the whole package.

About 12 months ago, I tried out Infusionsoft for the first time. When I got going with it, I was almost sick to my stomach because once I got into the system I realized how much I was actually missing out on all of these years in marketing online. I look back at some of the systems that I used before and laugh because I now realize after using Infusionsoft how basic they really are and how little he can really do with them in comparison [Read more...]

WordPress Dream Theme

If you have ever tried to use a wordpress theme for your website, you will probably understand how complicated it really can be to install and customize.  I have tried about 20-25 themes in my days.  I also researched like crazy to find one that looked great, and was easy for me to customize.

After all of my searching, I ended up using the Revolution 2 theme (Church).  I went with it because it looks like an actual website rather than just a blog.  You can use it for your entire CMS or just for a typical blog.  It is great and has a forum and support site to help you with any customizing you need to do.

I recently did some testing of the WordPress Dream Theme.   I was blown away with the great functionality of the theme and how dynamic it really was.   Instead of having to hunt down plugins that might or might not work, this theme has a lot of them built right in to help you get off to a quicker start.

It has built in SEO features, feedburner support, widget ready, custom theme pages built in, thumbnails for each post, footer images, and best of all, and great support system to help you along the way.  I have tried a ton of different themes that had no support to help you customize them.  Unless you are an html, css, php expert, this is going to be a must have.  Many of the free themes are especially hard to customize or figure out how you can make it your own look.

See the demo here of the WordPress Dream Theme.  If you have used any other wordpress themes that you like, make sure to leave a comment below and let us know what you like.  Especially if you have used the Dream Theme or Revolution 2 themes.

Seo Most Common Mistakes

When it comes to search engine optimization, the fact of the matter is that it is always changing. What was true for years ago may not be true today, and what is true today may not be true tomorrow. We all know that Google is the number one search engine around and if you want the most traffic you have to play by their rules. Let’s talk about some of the most common misconceptions about search engine optimization.

#1. You have to get back links from sites that are in your same niche for them account in Google.
Google wants the best experience for their users and understands that not every natural links from one site to another is always going to be in the same niche. In fact that was always in the same exact niche, you can Google might be a little suspicious.

#2. The page on the site that actually carries your link must have high page rank for it to really give you any juice.
Naturally, if a new page pops onto a website with your link or maybe even a review about your product or website, it goes without saying that it’s going to take some time for that page to get ranked in Google, and also climbed up the page rank scale. If Google likes the entire website as a whole, chances are they going to be some great SEO juice for that link going back to your site regardless if it is in the same niche or not.

#3. If Google’s back links record doesn’t show your backlinks, they don’t count in Google’s results.
Google’s backlink checker really doesn’t show all of the backlinks that their algorithm tracks. If you really want to see a more complete list of your backlinks, try looking on Yahoos link checker.

#4. I need to have one of the top 3 spots to get any traffic.
It is true that the first 3 spots get most of the traffic, but what if you have hundreds or thousands of keywords that you rank for. It isn’t always about quality, but it can be about quantity sometimes. And as your site grows, so does the strength of all of your pages.
